Current Twitturly Status

Number of URLs and Tweets that Twitturly processed per day

Shown above is the number of Tweets and URLs that Twitturly has processed over the last 14 days, excluding today.

The Tweets Processed count is based off of the timestamp that twitter provides with the tweet, not the actual time we processed it. However, the URLs Processed count is based off of when we processed it. Because of this, it is possible for us to process more URLs in a day than there were tweets processed.

This chart can be seen as the number of tweets on twitter that have "unique" URLs in them per day versus the total number of tweets sent with a URL in it.

Number of URLs that Twitturly process per hour over the last 24 hours

Shown above is the total number of Tweets vs the actual number of URLs that Twitturly has processed over the last 24 hours, excluding the current hour.

The Tweets Processed count is based off of the timestamp that twitter provides with the tweet, not the actual time we processed it. However, the URLs Processed count is based off of when we processed it. Because of this, it is possible for us to process more URLs in an hour than there were tweets processed. This is especially true when they processing queue is higher than normal.

Current Twitturly Queue

Shown above is Twitturly's processing queue over the last 24 hours. We feed the tweets that have URLs in them into this queue first, and then depending on how big this queue gets and a few other variables, we adjust the number of servers required to process the tweets. Basically, the higher this chart, the further behind real-time we are. Anything that is 2,000 or below is typically only 15-30 seconds behind real-time.
